Smith Wigglesworth lived a very human existence. Among the miracles, in and around the powerful acts of God, he was very much a man.
The miracles he performed were beyond incredible. He definitely lived a life where his acts equaled and surpassed the acts of Jesus, and yet were all done using the same force, the same power of the Eternal.
And he had moments of ego. The funniest story I heard was in regards to attending a wake. Apparently, he forgot to check with the Divine before he decided to bring the guy back from the dead. Smith stood him up and spoke the power of the Lord. Over. And over. And over again.
What he managed to accomplish was to bash the head of an unsuspecting corpse into the wall. Repeatedly.
Humans can be utterly confused about the intentions of the God!
